The room is the perfect venue for a Shag Dance contest. The building is a newly renovated 9000+ square foot meeting hall that is used monthly for events by the Harnett Area Shag Association. There are clean restrooms, a cash bar, a raised bandstand, and even a changing room. The dance floor looks just like the one at Studebaker's, a red & white checkerboard tile floor. There is room for seating all the way around the dance floor to make sure that everyone can get a good view of the action. Plus, the Shrine Lodge is easy to find. It is only 8 tenths of a mile off of I-95. There is even plenty of parking.

Take exit 73 off of I-95. Turn onto Hwy 421 North heading into downtown Dunn. Go .8 miles and turn right onto Hwy 301 North. The Shrine Lodge is three blocks on the left.

$5.00 a person each night or $8.00 for a weekend pass. We will have several packages available for table purchases and preferred seating. Click here for seating plan information.

Please help us make this an enjoyable weekend for all. The room will setup to allow the best viewing of the dancers. We ask that you not sit or stand on the edge of the dance floor or in the aisles during competition.

Divisions:
This contest will include divisions for CSA Amateurs, Novices, & Professionals. There will also be divisions for Juniors & Non-CSA Amateurs. The Non-CSA Amateur division is intended to be a fun division for those who are new to competitive shagging. No dancers with CSA experience or professional dance instructors (those who are paid to teach dance) will be allowed in this division.
